DEBBE EDWARDS – HORSE HEAD SEMINAR: Time to sign up for our second (and final) seminar of 2008. Cost of the seminar is $150 plus the cost of the blank. She can furnish a blank in either basswood or butternut (each student's choice), depending on the color you would like for the finished project. Size of the blank is about 9x9x4 inches. I have attached a photo for your reference. Dates for the seminar are Friday thru Sunday, October 31-November 2. Most working folks will get Nevada Day (Oct 31) off so that should work out well to get our seminar in. Time will be 9 am to 5 pm each day. This is a great project for a new or novice woodcarver. The finishing is easy - a 'natural' finish, like Deft or linseed oil. Very little wood-burning and painting is required. If you are interested, please send a deposit of $50 to hold your spot. Sign up early – we had to turn people away from last year’s seminar with Debbe.
